Hempmade?

Hempmade exists since the 1 of april 2006 and is a wholesale and retail store of natural hemp products. Since a few years we are working on small scale hemp cultivation to start up a local grown range of organic hemp foodproducts. We also experiment with the fibre to process into eco-building material, paper, hempdiapers etc...

We offer a wide range of hemp textiles: clothing for men and women, shoes, accessories, backpacks, shoulder- hand- travel and carrybags etc...

Beside this, we offer an assortiment of bodycare products based on organic hempoil and organic certified hempfoods.

You can find our store in Leuven, Diestsestraat 145.
Hempmade is open from Monday - Saturday, from 10.00-18.00h.
And Thursday, we're open till 20.00h!

Our ideology

Hempmade is founded because we believe that hemp is one of the most interesting plants, it can produce over more than 25000 different products!

Because of its ecological growth, strong fibres and nutritious seeds, hemp can help to solve some of the most current world problems such as famine, chopping of ancient forests, contamination of the soil and rivers.

That’s why we choose to work with textiles that are partly or 100% made out of hemp.

Hempmade chooses to work with partners who follow the same ethical purposes in environmental and human rights issues.
Hempmade stands for action towards self-preservation and respect for nature where we all depend on. We promote a more healthy and responsible community by proposing alternatives made out of hemp.

Our range

All products you can find in our shop are partly or 100% made out of hemp, mixed with fibres such as bamboo, soy, flax, wool, and (bio)-cotton. That's why it's important to keep close contact with our partners and their way of working. Besides our ecological care, most of our products also have the fair-trade label.

Hemp made provides a large scale of natural hemp products. You mostly can find fashionable and comfortable clothing for men and women. Besides clothing, we sell a large scale of bags, backpacks and handbags, bodycare products with the soft hemp oil, organic food and drinks.

Our producers worked hard to eliminate the stereotype of hemp clothing as itchy and shapeless. In our online shop you can find more information and photo's of a part of our products!

Where do hemp products come from ?

Hempmade provides products from colleague hemp companies from over Europe & some overseas.All our food and body-care products are made in Europe and soon in Belgium to.

Nowadays the biggest production of industrial hemp is situated in China. Historically hemp was allways an important crop in China, it has been used extensively there and has never been illegal to farm. For this reason China nowadays is global leader in the development of ecological fabrics, made from hemp, bamboo, soy, flax and organic cotton...
